I am an Architect and designer currently working and living in London.
I believe in an architecture of engagement with strong political and local ties. I have a desire to develop ideas which embody unlocking potential through emerging models of design and development, to create new prospects for people to grow, nurture, and showcase their creative abilities.
I currently work at Ian Ritchie Architects working on a full range of projects from inception to site work in a research and design-led practice in East London.
These projects range from strategic and masterplanning work, to cultural projects, in particular theatres, urban mixed use schemes, small scale installations and a range of feasibility and competition work.
My previous architectural experience was based at Wilkinson Eyre Architects. Where he worked on the ‘Gardens by the Bay’ project in Singapore. The project consists of two vast environmentally controlled glasshouses which contain tropical and Mediterranean environments; designed within an experiential environment to expose the visitor to a unique space.
The project was completed in 2012 and won the World Architecture Festival (WAF) world building of the year award of that year.
